About the ledger
We keep a public record of every sweepstakes casino we test
DoSweeps is a small team that opens accounts, plays with our own money, and files what happened. Everything on this site is a record of a check we actually ran.
What we are for
Sweepstakes casinos are sold on hype: purple 777s, coin bundles, headline numbers that mean nothing once you read the terms. The information a player actually needs - can I play from my state, how long does a redemption take, what does the fine print say - is buried or missing.
We publish that information and nothing else. Every claim on this site traces back to a check we ran on a date we name. Where we have not checked something, we say so and leave the field empty rather than guess.
How we test
Three checks stand behind every score. A casino that fails one does not get a rating until we retest it.
01
We open a real account
Registration, identity checks, the first session. We record what the signup asks for, what it costs, and which states are blocked at the door.
02
We run a redemption
A prize redemption is the only claim that matters. We request one, time it, and note every document the operator asks for along the way.
03
We read the terms against the offer
Bonus copy is compared line by line with the operator terms. If the two disagree, the terms win and the offer is marked accordingly.
Standards we hold to
These are commitments, not marketing. Hold us to them.
| Commitment | What that means in practice |
|---|---|
| Every figure carries a date | Scores, counts and legal statuses are stamped with the day we last checked them. An undated number is a number you cannot trust. |
| Missing data stays missing | We never fill an empty field with an estimate. If a casino has not published a redemption minimum, the page says so. |
| Affiliate revenue is disclosed | We earn commission from some operators. Commission never moves a score, and paid placement is labelled wherever it appears. |
| Corrections are logged, not quietly edited | When a page changes, the change is recorded with its date so you can see what we got wrong and when we fixed it. |
These commitments apply to every page on this site. Tell us when we fall short of them.
Who signs the work
See the author indexReviews are bylined. Each author page lists what that person covers and every review they have filed.
We do not publish anonymous verdicts. If a review carries a score, a named person ran the test and stands behind it.
Tell us where we are wrong
Found an operator behaving differently to how we describe it? Send us the detail and we will retest. Corrections take priority over new coverage.
Play responsibly
Sweepstakes play is entertainment, not income. Minimum age depends on the operator and your state - 18+ or 21+. Each operator record on this site prints the minimum that operator sets, and no purchase is ever necessary to enter or win.
