Sweeper Goes Dark, RealPrize and LoneStar End Delaware Sweeps Coin Play

Two closure signals landed on our desk this month. We checked each one against operator-controlled sources before writing, and only part of what was flagged holds up.

Sweeper's site is gone, with no closure notice

Sweeper is offline. Checked on August 21, 2026, sweepercasino.com returns no address record from the Google, Cloudflare or Quad9 public resolvers, and the www subdomain points at a CloudFront distribution that no longer resolves either. Nothing loads.

The last working capture in the Internet Archive is dated May 19, 2026 and carries the page title "Sweeper Casino", confirming the dead domain was the brand's own.

What does not exist is a closure announcement. No notice, no wind-down statement, no published redemption deadline for outstanding Sweeps Coin balances. The report we were checking, published by SweepsKings on August 7, 2026, found the same absence.

That is the worst version of a shutdown. Compare LuckyLand Slots, which published dates and a redemption window in advance. Sweeper simply stopped resolving.

Monster Treasure has not closed

The other half of that signal does not hold. Monster Treasure was reported as heading for closure, but its operator site at monstertreasurecasino.com was live when we checked on August 21, 2026, serving games, sign-up and banking pages, with a winners feed carrying entries dated August 20, 2026.

The brand's own How It Works page still names MTreasure Labs Inc. of Dallas, Texas as the operator, and still lists its ineligible states as California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Washington. Delaware is not among them, and there is no closure notice on the site.

One thing to watch if you search this yourself: monsterstreasure.com and monsterstreasures.com publish review-style pages about the brand and are not the operator. Reading the wrong domain is how a closure gets invented.

RealPrize and LoneStar pull Sweeps Coins from Delaware

The second signal is a state withdrawal, not a shutdown. According to notices sent to players and reported by Deadspin on August 12, 2026, RealPrize and LoneStar Casino told Delaware account holders that from August 21, 2026 they can no longer collect, receive, earn or use Sweeps Coins through promotions, bonuses, mail-in entry or any other route. Redemption requests from Delaware accounts must be submitted by September 21, 2026, after which those accounts are no longer eligible for Sweeps Coin redemptions. Gold Coin play stays available in the state.

The two brands moving in step is not a coincidence. Both apps are published by the same developer, Realplay Ltd, on the App Store: RealPrize Casino and Lonestar Casino.

One limit on this item: we could not read either operator's site directly. Both realprize.com and lonestarcasino.com return Cloudflare 403 blocks to us, so those two dates rest on Deadspin's account of the player notices rather than on a page we loaded on the operators' own domains.

What makes Delaware different

Delaware did not pass a sweepstakes ban the way Louisiana, Maine or Oklahoma did. It already licenses online casino play, and it applies existing gambling law to the dual-currency model.

The state's own announcement, dated April 7, 2025, says the Delaware Division of Gaming Enforcement investigated VGW Luckyland, Inc. and concluded the company "misrepresented its services as a promotional sweepstakes" while letting players buy coins for casino-style games. The DGE issued a cease-and-desist order with the support of the Delaware State Lottery, and effective April 2, 2025 Delaware residents could no longer use VGW Luckyland's platforms. The release names the Delaware Constitution, the Delaware Penal Code and the Delaware Gaming Competitiveness Act of 2012 as the laws breached.

That shapes how Delaware exits look. The objection is to the purchasable promotional currency, not to social gaming, so operators strip out Sweeps Coins, give a redemption window, and leave the free Gold Coin product running.

What we could not confirm

Three claims did not survive checking and are not in this report:

• That MTreasure Labs Inc. has gone into liquidation. Sourced to industry hearsay, with no filing or company statement we could locate.
• That the DGE sent a fresh round of cease-and-desist letters in mid-August 2026. Nothing to that effect appears on news.delaware.gov or the DGE site.
• One outlet gave September 22, 2026 as the Delaware cutoff rather than September 21. We used the date carried by most reports, and Delaware players should treat the earlier one as the real deadline.

If you hold a Delaware balance at either brand, file the redemption request now rather than in mid-September. Verification delays are the usual reason a request misses a hard cutoff.
